Before Brocca CO existed, the brand operated under the name Qina Phanta, established and led by Miss Minenhle Shabalala from 2017 to 2020. Under her leadership, Qina Phanta laid the foundation for a clothing and apparel brand rooted in courage, identity, and cultural pride.
In 2020, leadership transitioned to Mr. MM Shabalala, who brought a renewed creative vision. He rebranded Qina Phanta into what is now known as Brocca CO, introducing a sharper modern style, a stronger streetwear influence, and a deeper connection to South African youth culture.

In 2023, the company entered a new era when ST Shabalala took over as Owner and Director. Under his leadership, Brocca CO underwent its most significant evolution to date.
While Brocca CO was originally known solely for clothing and apparel, ST Shabalala saw a bigger opportunity — to unite fashion and music under one movement. This vision led to the expansion of Brocca CO into a dual venture: a streetwear brand and a full music distribution platform.
